Ether Drop the Ethereum Lottery

Darkstreet News is trying to cover all the interesting new projects in the token and application space of the cryptocurrency world.  We came across another interesting press release this morning.

Ethereum is making waves in the games space with applications like Cryptokitty and now applications seek to enter the gambling and lottery space.  Etherdrop is designed to act as a lottery using Ether and blockchain.  The Lotteries first round is open now.  This is an Ethereum application designed to be used with used Metamask.  One of a series of such application that the Darkstreet researchers are following.

Participating is straight and easy, just go to
1. Send the round ether amount from your wallet , and that's it you'r in!
2. Wait until the drop is Full and ready to be sent
3. A random number will be derived from the blocks hashes
4. If your subscription order matches the number, you collect the Jackpot!

You can participate in 3 types of rounds, and only one time (wallet address) per round:
  • Large Drop: long round of 1000 users, hard win probability, Big Jackpot
  • Medium Drop: average round of 100 users, med win probability, Med Jackpot
  • Smaller Drop: fast round of 10 users, easy win probability, Small Jackpot
